Tail Chop, Integrated Taillight Bundle

Could not be more happy with integrated LED brake and taillight. The smoke lens looks great on my black Monster 1000 and makes a 2004 bike look a bit more modern, as well as getting rid of the ugly factory mudguard. Installation was straightforward with the detailed instructions. All electrical connections are plug and play and easy to do. Shipping from USA to Australia was prompt and hassle free. Highly recommend the product and the service.

Hi I ordered the tail chop from Victoria -Australia & within 13 days it arrived at my door step. I’m a builder not a mechanic & found installation very very easy thank you to the easy to read instructions supplied. used a pipe cuter to remove the rear part of the frame. The LED tail light was also very easy to install & looks awesome thank you I really love the new look

This is a must have for older Monsters. The look of the stock rear fender is just too much, I got the combo with the Motodynamics LED tail light and I couldnt be happier! One recommendation, when you cut the frame, be sure to paint or coat the bare metal with something or it will rust. Even with the supplied plugs. The included directions were thorough and easy to understand, the youtube video helped a lot too. So happy with this purchase.

Was honestly not expecting it to look as good as it did, wiring was also extremely easy. All the LEDs are bright, its light and fits perfectly with my seat, no issues what so ever

Everything that came with the kit was well packaged, very easy to understand, and quick to install. It didn't take very long and I'm extremely happy with the results. This is how these bikes should look from the factory!

The chop looks great. Don't be scared about chopping the frame, it's worth it. The hard part was the seat didn't want to lock down. The bumpers on the bottom we're hitting the plate bracket so it wouldn't sit down low enough to lock. Had to grind off a fair amount of the bumpers to get the seat to lock. No big deal. Worth the work.

Easy to install and big improvement to the looks. I bought the combo set with led integrated taillight but chose to install in parallel with my turn signal lights. This gives it a bit more 'stock' look and the turn indicators flash at the same time as the tail light. I was a little nervous cutting the frame but very happy with the results.

Had my 16yr old son install the chop/integrated light kit on my 2000 M750. Took him a half hour, that easy. Looks awesome. Totally happy.

I bought the integrated tail light and fender eliminator package and had it installed by my mechanic. It came out awesome!! My monster looks so much cleaner and the lights are way brighter than the stock lights. I highly recommend this product!

I love this product on my 07 Ducati S4R . Easy to install and the frame cut is much easier than anticipated. I would buy again, particularly with the Motodynamic integrated tail light.

I had already watched the video's beforehand so was prepared for the job that was to come. I would suggest it if you want to save time. I was a bit unprepared with what to do with the old number plate light but I just taped it up and kept it under the seat with the rest. I also didn't need to use the LED resistor adapter, the signals work just fine. All is all, definitely worth it to have a sleeker cleaner design. However, bear in mind that there will be an issue when riding in the wet as the old mudguard prevented everything, and now you may get your back slightly wet... worth it.

A little bit on the pricy side but I'm very satisfied with the results - looks great? It was nice to have everything bundled and not have to mess with separate orders or realizing such things later on as "I should have gotten the caps". This bundle is def made for the monster. Installation was super easy and took about 1.5 hrs but if I had to do it again I could probably do it in 30 min. The tail chop itself might seem intimidating but I had no problem cutting through the tail frame with a hacksaw. I would recommend when you start chopping that you 1) tape around where you are going to make your cut because you will inevitably bang and mark up the other side of the frame when you are cutting one side or the other (hope this makes sense). 2) Use a trash bag to cover your back wheel area so you don't get metal shaving in the rotor, break and wheel area. Instructions were easy to follow. I would recommend connecting the taillight without the supplied harness first to see if that works. It did for me and makes the wiring less complicated and also makes it so you have less wires to try and hide under your seat. I bought the smoke lens but if I had to do it over I would have gotten clear. I think, and especially so for a motorcycle you want to make the taillight as bright as possible.

Had apprehension about cutting bike frame like most. Kit had everything I needed and went together without a hitch. Hookup was straight forward and looks awesome. Whish I did it years ago. Thanks for a great product.

Installed the monster tailchop last week and it looks great and appears to be sturdy and well made. I did have to cut the tabs off for the signal lights as my Sargeant seat interfered with them and wouldn't latch. I don't need them though as I purchased the integrated tail light as well. Overall I'm very pleased with the ease of install, function and aesthetics of the product.
